I am from Viet Nam
I was 12yr old in 1985, 1991, my friend and told me that Barbara Yung died in 1985, at that time, looking at the pictures of her I feel sorry for her but not interested because I have not seen the movie she plays , then more than 20 years,date 05 may 2014, SCTV9 broadcast television drama: "Legend of Condor Heroes" version in 1983, 59 episode, as I write these words, I had watch to 49 episode, when I see the character Huang Rong and I actually touched, read the biography and career life, seen the old picture of her, I sympathize with her, I feel my heart heavy , she did died was young, stories passed nearly 30 years, but I feel like that happened yesterday, I was really sad, Barbara Yung forever in my heart.

I love your picture and stories not only because they show us a glimpse of the real her but it is the pure love I can sense and I feel that she was blessed to have had a good time before. Life is never easy and somtimes I can feel the resonance with her facing problems that made me want to escape. But then when I look back to her life , i realise I am loved by so many and surely I dun wanna give the beloved one pains.today is 29 yrs after her passing away, RIP, Babara!we love you!

Exactly 29 years ago, i was a secondary student in Hong Kong. Heard the news from radio about her death. Can't believe it. Still miss her!

Then i visited her tomb in Cambridge a few times.

Well, at least Barbara was very lucky to have you Rob.
Just a lil question to you, will you take care Barbara grave ?
Someday her mother will pass away, and consider that Barbara was the only child, means there will be no siblings to take care her grave.
And being placed at England, means majority of her fans (asian) also have difficulty to get there.
After reading all your story, I do feel that deep inside you still love/miss her...

Hello Greg, I don't really know who is taking care of her grave now. I don't think it is her mother, but I am not sure. I think the fanclub in HK knows more about this.

Well, what I read over your interview with some magazine, you said you were visit Barbara grave at least once a year.
I saw story that you were cleaning her grave too.
I appreciated it :-)
Please continue to visit her, she would be happy.
You are the first serious relationship she has, and I don't think she ever forgot about it.
BTW, congrats for Orantje for finish 3rd at World Cup :-)

Yes I do visit her grave once a year and clean it. But other people do that as well. This year the grave was well kept. I hardly had to do anything to tidy it up.

(a 3rd place is not bad at all, I never thought they would this far).

had been following her stories when i was still a kid, I was 10 years old when she left everything she loved.I would think she would have a complete different life now a days.she just met a wrong person (that does mean that person was a bad guy) in a wrong place (HongKong). she was so pure and at the time it was so complicated and dirty in Hongkong during the 80s
