I just want to say thank you. I am having a relationship with a Dutch guy currently, and I am a girl original from HK, and I had my youth spent in England and London as well.

I am not Barbara's fan, because she is my mom's generation, I am here only because I was so touched by this beautiful love story.

Thank you for sharing, I bet if Barbara knows you are still remember everything about her, she will be very happy. I guess this is what wants, to be remembered.

Actually I was still a youth studying university from 1983 to 1986. So I did not have much time watching TV since my university life (in Engineering department) was very busy and lot of lectures and studies (>35 hours per week). But I could still recognized Barbara Yung achievement in Hong Kong TV drama 射鵰英雄傳 (Legend of the Condor Heroes Series) as she had played so well that both she and the drama gained wide acceptance and popularity. Every Hong Kong people thought she was a professional actress with intensive-training before. Personally I did not know much about Barbara character. I did not even read any entertainment news. Although I was shocked when she committed suicide but I did not have much deep passion or emotions about the incident.

It is different until today I read her stories you told. You composed so much details and whole picture of Barbara personality that I believe Barbara is a really really nice girl (and a good wife if everything were reset). When Barbara Yung committed suicide, it was commonly believed by most Hong Kong people that Ken Tong misbehaved himself by dating other girls but Barbara was rumored to be too autonomous as well and thus their relationship broke up. By now, I believed actually Barbara was very serious about this love affairs. So serious that Love means 100% of her life and her future. Love means the only hope she could restore love from her passed-away father since her youth, and she could not stand the pains that stressed her so much.

Thank you for bringing forward to me Barbara stories. They were touching and humanized. It also triggers me memorizing my old and lovely days at that time.

I had lunch in our university canteen today and all of a sudden I heard two boys, sitting next to me, were talking about Barbara. One of them said that he liked girls like Barbara. I couldn't help inserting their conversation and told them this site. The boy who said he loved Barbara wrote the name of this site in his cellphone. I hope he would browse here this evening. I never thought that people still remembered her after all these years.

翁美玲是个非常好的演员，她主演的《射雕》是我少女时代最爱的电视之一。那年得知她自杀消息时我伤心的哭了，她是那么一个的美好人儿，但她却放弃了自己，当时在我们旁人看来是那么的痛心和惋惜。今天再看来，还是一样的叹息，为了这样一个不堪的男人放弃了自己的生命。。。。。。很多人都希望，如果重来，我们都希望她和你在一起。

Rob, Thank you so much for telling us all these things. Barbara is the first actress i've ever liked in my life. I was a little girl when she was active in the film industry. (I am now 35, married, my daughter is now 2)

I am happy for her that she had been loved so real in her short life. And thank you for being such a nice and loving person. Having someone like you makes the world we are living more beautiful.

hi! recently noticed you and Barbara's story from "YouTube ". well, Barbara Yung was my first idol and still keeping her photos and interview articles, over 20 years. she is a very important person to me, whenever l felt extremely tired thinking of end up myself, Barbara appeared in my mind and l stopped the idea. from her past interviews, Barbara had mentioned that there was a boyfriend when she was studying in England and separated before coming back to Hong Kong. thank you very much sharing you and Barbara sweet, beautiful love story. best wishes.
