Four big men intercept a robbery, it's not easy, Yung Mei Ling breaks her fortune to save her innocence, regrets driving the wrong car ....
Broadcast Drive is a place where film and television personalities live and where law and order has never been bad. However, after the midnight robbery of Yung Mei Ling, the area has now become a black spot for criminals.
She lost only a thousand dollars in cash and a watch. She was so shocked by the robbery that whenever her friends talk about it in front of her she looked as scared as if she had seen a ghost.
"It's horrible!" she says. Her voice still trembles.
It is said that the robbery was planned, otherwise two cars and four men would not have been deployed.
"In fact, they were probably watching you all along!"
"I was very careful to get rid of them, thinking that they would leave on their own, but then the accident happened when I got back to Broadcast Drive."
What kind of car were you driving?
"My friends said it was too flashy for a single girl to drive, which is probably why I attracted the attention of the robbers." She regretted that she had driven the wrong car.
As she drove her car back to Broadcast Drive near her home, two cars suddenly caught up with her, one in front of the other, and the other behind her, stopping her in the middle.
"Subconsciously, I braked hard and honked the horn, because it was so quiet around me. I think I woke up a lot of people!" she recalls, her face still tense.
"What happened afterwards?"
"The car stopped, and when I got my bearings, I saw a man jump out of each of the two cars, and they were moving very quickly."
"Were they armed?"
"I don't remember very clearly, but I wouldn't have resisted if they hadn't had weapons". She was confused!
"Did they say anything to you?"
"I don't remember, I don't think they said anything, it was only for a few minutes, I remember they took my handbag and watch and then they ran back to the cars."
"If they had come back, they might do something else!"
It wasn't a deliberate attempt to intimidate her. In fact, from what she said, they had a plan to stop and rob her.
"I can't imagine what they would have done," she said in wondering.
"Maybe they'll kidnap?"
"I don't think so. I'm not rich, and I'm an artist, so I'm in the limelight. Where could I hide if they kidnapped me?"
Maybe she had a point.
"Didn't you ever worry that they would rob you?"
"I was so confused that I didn't think of any possibilities. My first thought was that they were looking for money."
"What would you have done if they had done something?"
"I don't know, but I would have fought back and screamed until someone saved me," she said seriously.
Screaming and resisting is a subconscious thing to do, but it probably didn't occur to Yung Mei Ling that she might not have had the strength to resist in that situation, so if it hadn't been for the watchman, she would have been in for a very bad time.
"You have to thank the watchman!"
"I've already thanked him, but he was surprised by the press I made on Changan". She said reassuringly.
After the assailant left that night, she went to the police station and gave a statement on the advice of the watchman.
"I thought I could get a good night's sleep and go back to work the next day, but it didn't work out that way," she says. She shook her head and sighed.
At the time of the statement, Yung Mei Ling remembered the licence plate of one of the cars driven by the culprit, which was later found by the police and confirmed to be a stolen car.
"Did you recognize the look of the culprit?"
"It was so dark and I was so scared that I didn't recognise him. I didn't intend to pursue the matter, but if I hadn't insisted on calling the police, I would have let it go."
Some people may think that Yung Mei Ling was wrong in not co-operating with the police when a crime had been committed, but from her point of view, as a celebrity, she would have been worried about reporting the crime to the police.
"It's no wonder she didn't want to report the incident. I've heard of people being robbed at home before, but they didn't want to talk about it. I think it's best to have a police post here," she said, as if she were complaining.
"Will you dare to go to the night street again?"
"It's a long story, I've been so busy filming Chu Liu Xiang that I haven't had time to go out. I had a bit of free time that day, so I had dinner and chatted with my friends. I was driving home at three o'clock, and it was such a coincidence that I was intercepted."
"Why didn't Kent pick you up?"
"He had to work that day and I only informed him when I arrived at the police station. But he couldn't pick me up at the police station because he was working."
I understand how helpless and lonely Yung Mei Ling felt at that time.
"You really have to be careful when you go out in the future!"
"In fact, it is very difficult to avoid such things. It's not uncommon for us artists to return home at midnight. Sometimes there is no point in being careful, it's just meant to be!"
I'm sure it's just a matter of time.
"But I'll be careful from now on, at least I won't be driving around so much!"

四條大漢勞師動眾截劫，殊不簡單，翁美玲破財保清白，後悔開錯車....
廣播道是影、視界人士聚居地方，此處治安一直不壞，不過在發生翁美玲午夜遇劫一事後，現在的四台山竟成了歹徒犯罪的黑點。
話說阿翁遇劫，雖然損失只有千多元現款及普通手錶一隻，不過却令她飽驚一場，現在但凡有朋友在她面前說起打劫的事，她便猶如聽到鬼魅般恐慌。
「太可怕了！」她的聲音仍然顫斗。
有說阿翁這次遭截劫，歹徒是有計劃地行事的，否則亦不會出動了兩輛汽車及四名大漢，所以阿翁在這事件中，只損失了小小現款，已是不幸中之大幸。
「其實他們很可能一直在盯著你！」
「說起來我才想起，因為我的車子是在尖東開返廣播道的，沿途我便看到有一輛車隨著我，最初我不為意，只以為是一些油脂青年，看到是我，想與我鬥車，我已經非常小心希望擺脫他們，以為不理會他們便會自動離開，誰知道返到廣播道後便發生事故了！」
這次午夜驚魂可令阿翁畢生難忘「當時你開的是什麼車？」
「阿湯的保時捷，朋友都說我單身一個女孩子開著這部車太過招搖了，也許便是引起歹徒注意的原因。」她為自己開錯車而有點後悔。
阿翁把她的車子駛返廣播道近家門前時，突然隨後便有兩部車趕上來，一前一後的把她夾住中央，前車更在一息間突然煞掣，把阿翁的車子截停。
「那剎間我仍未意料到是什麼事，以為前面車子突然發生了什麼事，下意識地我也猛力煞掣，兼且按了一下長安（喇叭），因為當時四週很寂靜，這一下長安我聽到也覺得刺耳，相信被我吵醒的人很多！」她邊憶述，面部表情仍緊張。
「後來又怎樣？」
「 車子停住了，我定過神來，便看到前後兩輛車子都分別有一名男子跳出來，他們的行動很迅速，當時我已知道是什麼事了！」
「他們持有武器嗎？」
「我也記不得很清楚，其實他們不拿武器我也不會反抗，我自己也覺得奇怪，當時並不是很驚，且還懂得自動自覺取了手袋及脫下手錶來。」她感到糊疑！
「他們有對你說什麼嗎？」
「記不清了，又好像沒說什麼，那陣子只有數分鐘，我記得他們取去我的手袋及手錶後，大廈便有看更走出來，他們看到這情形，也迅速地跳上車離開了！」
「倘若看更不走出來，他們可能
會有其他行動！」
這不是故意恐嚇她，事實上聽她所說這些歹徒本來是有計劃的，這樣攔途截劫，斷不會只劫了手袋便走罷！
「我想不到他們會有什麼行
動。」她奇異地說。
「或許他們會綁架。」
「我想不會，我又不是很富有，
況且我是藝員，這麼受注意，
綁了我可藏在那裡？」
也許她的話是有理的。
「你不曾擔心他們會劫色嗎？」
「當時我腦子一片混亂，根本沒
有想到什麼可能性，第一個意
念便是他們是求財而來的。」
「倘若他們真有行動，你怎辦」
「我實在不知道，當然我一定會反抗，大叫，直至有人救我。」她認真地說。
大叫，反抗這本是下意識的行動，不過阿翁可能沒想過當時的情況她也許根本沒有反抗的餘地，所以若不是看更的出現了，估計她的後果會不堪設想。
「你要多謝看更！」
「我已經謝了，其實看更也是被我所按的一下長安驚動而來的，這次算是破財擋災！」她安心地說。
當晚歹徒離去後，阿翁在看更建議下，已向警方報案以及到警署落口供。
「那晚我本以為可好好睡一覺，翌日開工繼續錄映的，誰知却事與願違。」她搖頭嘆了一聲。
在錄口供時，阿翁曾記得歹徒所駕的其中一部車子車牌，而事後警方已把車子尋到，並證實是一輛失車。
「你認到歹徒的樣子嗎？」
「當時太黑了，加上我又很驚，怎會認到人，
其實我也不打算追究，倘非看更堅持要報警，
這事我也讓它不了了知。」
也許有人認為阿翁此舉是不對的，發生罪案而不與警方合作，無疑是助長了歹徒的氣燄，不過站在她的立場，自己是有頭有面的藝員，當然會擔心報警後會有更麻煩的事發生，所以她當時不願報案也是難怪的。
「廣播道在晚上實在太靜了，要找一個警員也沒
有，從前也聽說有人返家曾遇劫，只不過他們
都不願張掦，所以知道的人不多，我認為最適
當是在這兒設一個警崗。」
她像在投訴的發表意見。
「以後還敢去夜街嗎？」
「說來也真是話長的，這陣子我一直忙著拍『楚
留香』，根本沒時間去玩，剛好那時此劇拍竣
，公司又開一個新時裝劇，那天我剛有一點空
閒的時間，便與朋友吃飯聊天，所以才到三時
許開車返家，就是那麼巧給我撞正截劫。」
「為什麼阿湯不接你？」
「他當日要開工，我遇劫後也是到警署才通知他
的，不過有工作在身，他亦不能到警署接我」
也很了解當時阿翁那種無助及孤獨的心情。
「以後出入可真要小心了！」
「其實這些事也很難避免的，我們當藝員的，三
更半夜才收工返家本是平常的事，只不過我這
趟就這麼好彩遇上了，有時候小心也沒用，註
定就是註定的！」
破少財而擋大災，阿翁可真要還神了！
「遲一點，待我有點空，我一定要還神，不過我以後也會小心的，最低限度不再開靚車那麼張掦了！」
這時她才輕鬆一笑。
錢財身外物，只要平安無事阿翁亦不計較損失多少。
