The Chinese fan club of Barbara was so kind to send me the whole series of The legend of the condor heroes and The Fearless duo, both with subtitles. Till now I only reached the third DVD of The legend (there are nine!). When I saw Barbara appear on screen, the first thing I thought was 'You're not acting, you are just having fun!'. I think Barbara played a role which was very close to her character. I recognize many expression and movements in the scenes in which she is just being herself.

I don't think that Barbara's mum is not aware about your website or watch TV or read news about Barbara. I'm certain that she does know about it. I mean LOCH and Barbara is widely talked about.
At the moment I am working on a book which tells the complete story about my life with Barbara. Unfortunately for those who are waiting for it, I find my life much to enjoyable for writing (I have nicer things to do). So it will take a long while before the book is finished.
I have been wondering how Barbara's mum respond/react upon learning/hearing about your website and your personal sharing about her.
I begin to think that Barbara chose to become an actress because she knows she will become famous so that you know how she was doing well through newspapers and concerts. :P
May i ask if you will share more of the stories after Barbara's mother will not be around one day?
I liked condor heroes, but by today's standards alot of the special effects and storyline will seem really cheesy, but I love her character as Wong Yung. Don't bother with Fearless Duo cause that one pretty corny too.
Rob if you can get the english subtitles, you should watch her in her first series (sup sam wiu) which she was really cute as the princess in. And one of the first series i saw her in was the Foundations and I still like it to this day, even tho its sad.
I think her gestures and the way she carried herself is what makes her Wong Yung most lovable.
I hope you will watch her other series too. The one that she may not be playing a character that is similar to herself is probably 'The Foundation'. I haven't seen a version that has english translation though. Hope there will be one. But it's very tragic.
