1983 July 17: Kent Tong and Yung Mei Ling are busy. Tong Chun Yip has only a half day for a meal with Yung Mei Ling.
When Yung Mei Ling was filming in “The Legend of the Condor Heroes”, her boyfriend (Tong Chun Yip) was free. Therefore, they did not have time for dating. However, when Yung Mei Ling completed filming of “The Legend of the Condor Heroes”, Tong Chun Yip went to film in “The return of the Condor Heroes”. So yesterday, Tong Chun Yip moaned: “ Our timing is far from perfect!”
Tong Chun Yip said that Yung Mei Ling returned from Europe on 15th July 1983 and his part in filming of “The return of the Condor Heroes” is not on a very tight schedule so he finally found a half day to have a meal with Yung Mei Ling.
Tong Chun Yip said that his part in filming of “The return of the Condor Heroes” will be finished in October. If he has time, he will go and travel with Yung Mei Ling. Probably, he will visit his father-in-law-to-be and mother-in-law-to-be in UK.
It proves that their relationship is growing steadily upwards.
