Yung Mei Ling stabbed Miu Kiu Wah
There was burst blood vessel in his left eye
Since the starting filming “The Legend of the Condor Heroes”, many actors had an accident and were sent to the hospital. One of the main actors (Michael Miu Kiu Wai) said that he was the only one without injury. But now he was stabbed by Yung Mei Ling when he almost finished his work. He was nearly blinded.
On 14th of May at about midnight Yung Mei Ling and Michael Miu Kiu Wai were filming a fighting scene. Yung Mei Ling felt a bit tired. During a fight scene Yung Mei Ling stabbed Michael Miu’s left eye by her stick. He screamed. The operational staff supported him to go dressing room to take a rest. Yung Mei Ling was very shocked and she also accompanied with him to go Baptist Hospital. Yesterday he was still stayed at hospital.
Michael Miu Kiu Wai says: "At that time it felt very painful and I touched my eyes to see if my eye still existed. My eye did not bleed so I thought I will recovery after having a rest. However in the dressing room my left eye kept swelling and my vision got vision. Therefore I decided to go hospital for a check-up. This was my first time I went to hospital. "
After X-ray examination the doctor said that there was burst blood vessel in his left eye and my pupil did not get hurt. In last few days he needed to stay in hospital for observation. He needs also have to apply eye drops every day and some kinds of food he is not allowed to eat. The last time when he was injured it was his foot. Michael Miu Kiu Wai had there also been advised by the doctor that he cannot eat some kinds of food for a while. Now he also needs to follow this instruction again. So poor he is.
Michael Miu Kiu Wai said it was his last fighting scene on that day. He needs to work another three to four days to complete the whole filming of “The Legend of the Condor Heroes”. Unexpectedly he cannot work now. Luckily, filming of “The Legend of the Condor Heroes” will not be delayed.
Felix Wong Yat-wah, Yung Mei Ling, Yiu Fung Si (Michael Miu’s girlfriend) and his mother visited him in the hospital. Michael Miu Kiu Wai expressed that he had informed his mother that he was in hospital on yesterday’s morning. Her mother was shocked.
