The president of Yung Mei Ling fan association told reporters yesterday that they still can't accept the news of their idol's death, but they will definitely attend Weng Meiling's funeral on Sunday (19th).
The woman president said that the association has more than 170 members, most of whom are students. 翁美玲影迷将參加喪禮
［本報訊］翁美玲影迷會會長昨日向記者表示，她們到現時仍不能接受她們的偶像死去的消息，但她們一定會參加星期日（十九日）翁美玲的喪禮。
這位女會長表示，該會有會員一百七十多人，多數是學生。翁美玲死訊傳出的當日，她們均感到非常愕然和極度難過，有一些甚至傷心到不返學，在家中痛哭。她們都不能接受偶像死去的事實。
這幾日來，她們曾企圖與湯鎮業接觸，希望能了解多些情況，但是一直找不到他。
會長又表示，她們原定本月七日翁美玲生日那天與她開日會，但由於翁美表示因心情不好不想在該日出席生日會，故影迷們將生日會壓後至本月十九日舉行。她們並買定生日禮物，準備在十九日送给自己的偶像，豈料這個生日會之期卻變成翁美玲出殯的日子。
