Today at 3:00 a.m., Yung Mei Ling was robbed on Boardcast Drive.  She merely lost a thousand of Hong Kong Dollar and a watch.  Yung Mei Ling reported to Police who found a stolen car.  It is suspected that this stolen car was related to this robbery.

Yung Mei Ling was requested to make police written statement so she was not back to home till this morning.  She told the journalist about the incident by phone.  She said she drove a car from Tsim Sha Tsui to her home.  She realized a car was following her while driving across Princess Margaret Road.  She just guessed they invited her to play a car racing game so she ignored them.  However, when her car arrived at the gate of her home, one car suddenly stopped in front of her car and the following car also drove close behind her and stopped.  As a result, her car was in the middle.  She continued pressing a car horn to alert the security guard.  However, two guys got out of their car and approached her car.   She knew what they wanted so she handed in her money and a watch.  In the meantime, a security guard came over.  Then, the thieves left at once driving their cars away.  She planned not to report her case to police but a security guard advised her to do so.

Yung Mei Ling said many colleagues had a similar experiences before.  She told this to Tong Chun Yip who reminded her to be careful when leaving home or going on her way home.  However, Tong Chun Yip said that it is hard to avoid this ever happening again.  She considered that moving to another place might be better.

Yung Mei Ling said her financial loss may prevent disaster (Chinese Idiom).  She will not pursue this matter any further.
