而湯鎮業早前接受電台訪問時表示早就不介意，反而苗僑偉為他澄清而受到網友狂轟，他感到十分不好意思，「咁多年唔好提喇，咁多年有個神話喺度，一個咁美好嘅人，唔會去摧毀佢，我唔需要平反。天有眼，你係好就好，唔好就唔好，我捱過咗呢段時間。可能有呢啲挫折，令我人生更加豐富，做人會更加檢點同積極，個天會畀番啲嘢你。(食死貓廿年幾？）男人頂得住，過咗咁多年都唔想提，冇必要平反。
