Barbara Yung suggested having lunch at a Sichuan restaurant and then head to Shek Kip Mei Park for photos. Usually Yung isn't someone with strong opinions, but this time she had a clear plan. A few more of her fans ended up joining her at the restaurant. She explained that these girls had been waiting for her outside the TV station for hours, so she simply invited them to join for lunch. Another group of fans had already gone ahead to Shek Kip Mei Park, but with no other choice, they had to wait there until after lunch when Yung would meet them.
Barbara held photos of herself in her hands, along with several scrapbooks that fans had made for her. She smiled and said, "These are like 'homework' my fans give me. I have to sign each page and picture, and then set a date to return them at the TV station." She jokingly added, "Just printing photos for my fans is enough to make me broke. Each print costs 70 cents at the company, and on any given day, I casually hand out over a hundred!" She also mentioned how responding to fan mail (which she can never ignore) has become a huge burden, leaving her exhausted. "I heard you even scolded fans over the phone," someone teased her. "Yes," she responded, as a matter-of-fact. "Those people aren’t fans, they're just troublemakers! Calling me at 4 or 5 in the morning just to say good morning! How could I not be annoyed?"
After lunch, Yung went to the park, where around ten girls were still waiting for her. Some fans had been enduring the scorching sun for a few hours. Impressive dedication. Normally, someone helps Barbara with her changes of outfits, but this time her fans helped her. Though she enjoyed the break, the crowd made it difficult for her to have a meaningful conversation with anyone. Barbara hinted that she would call in a few days to catch up.
However, when I called her a few days later, her usual bright laughter was gone. It was due to an affair involving Kam Shum’s fiancé. Yung was clearly upset and filled with resentment. Aggrieved, she asked, “It’s just too much. Why do they have to hurt me like this? It’s also hurting Kam Shum and her fiancé. They’re about to get married…". She mentioned that these rumours had even affected her career. “Last night, I had to deal with this matter with Kent... sigh, it’s been really unpleasant…”
"Is everything okay now?" I asked.
“I’m not sure. He’s still filming, and it seems like his anger hasn’t fully subsided. You know, he's very much a traditional man, and particularly sensitive and petty when it comes to these things…”
“If he weren’t anxious, then you should be worried,” I tried to comfort her.
She returned to the topic, saying, “Honestly, I do know Kam Shum’s fiancé, but we’re just friends, nothing more. I’m more concerned about the company blaming me for causing all this drama.”
Barbara immediately contacted Carrie Shum to discuss whether the three of them should clarify the situation, hoping to prevent it from affecting future relationships and emotions.
“What was the result? Was it necessary to clear things up?”
“We have not decided yet. Ugh, so annoying!”
It was my first time seeing the complex conflicts within the entertainment industry. This was Barbara’s first time being the main character in such a controversy, and for me, it was the first time witnessing her usual cheerful face clouded with worry.

先到川菜馆午饭, 再到石硖尾公园拍照, 还是翁美玲主意。平时 没有太多主见的美玲 ,这回是道步多了。
结果到来荣馆的人 还多了几个她的影迷。 她解释这些女孩在电视 台门口等了她几小时, 她干脆把她们也请来吃
饭好了。还有另一批影 迷本也一度来,却因携 乌龙全先到了石硖尾公 园等地。也无可奈何了 ,唯有吃过饭再去公园 跟她们会合。
巴巴拉手上捧着大 登自己的照片,还有数 本剪贴簿她笑谓,这 都是影迷给她做的「家
课」,她要同家逐页逐 张签名,然后约个日子 在电视台还给她们。
「单晒相送给影迷 就爱穷我了。在公司晒 相七角一张,一天闲闲 地逸一百几十张!」认 质樵计。还有覆影迷信 (她老硬不了心肠对信 件置之不理),她说这
些对她造成相当的负担 ,弄得她好累好惧。
「听说你会在电话 中驾影迷。」逗她说。
“是呀。”她一部理所当然：“那些不是影迷，简直是捣蛋鬼，凌晨四、五时把我铃酸，只为说声早晨，你说气不气？这些人质是要
饭后赶到公园,十 来个女孩还在等她。还 一些影迷已在烈日下熬个 余小时,佩服佩服。
本来要照顾巴巴拉 更衣的,但现都由她 的拥赛来代劳了。虽然 乐得清闲,就是人太多 ,很难跟她细细长谈。 巴巴拉会慧,着我过几 天给她电话。
不料几天后致电始 ,她银铃般的笑声就深 藏起来了。是为了被未 入沈金玲未婚夫的恋情 那件事。只听得她愤愤 不平,声声含恨。还组 屈的问道:「实在太过 份了,为什么要这样伤 害我?也伤害到沈金玲 和他的未婚夫。人家都 要结婚了………………」
她说,此事也伤到 过旗业。
「昨晚我们为此事 ……………………唉,总之关到很不 开心……………」
「现在该没事了吧 ?」
「不知道怎么了，他还在拍戏，看来是余怒未润。你知道，他是很大男人的，在这方面特别敏感、小器………………」
「他不紧张的话, 你才担心呢。」安慰她。
她又重回到那个话 题:「的而且确,我认 识沈金玲的未婚夫,但 仅属朋友而已,犯不着
我更担心公司会责怪我 闹出这些新闻。 」
·巴巴拉获悉此事后 立即致电沈金玲,商量 是否需要三个人出来把 事情说个清楚明白,以 免应响日后多方面的图 系到感情。
「结果怎样,有需 要吗?」
「还未定呀。啧, 烦!」
见识到娱乐圈的是非耕 这是巴巴拉第一次 粉,自己还是主角之一 。笔者则是第一次见到 乐天的她被烦恼浸过了 欢颜笑眉。
