Barbara Yung Knows How to Enjoy Life in a Comfortable and Elegant Home
“Ding-dong!” The doorbell rang, and the door was opened by the very subject of this home visit— Barbara Yung. She was dressed in a pink tracksuit. “Truly the star of vitality — even after leaving her post, she never forgets to often wear sportswear.”
The Cream-Colored Chair · Her Favorite
The entire living room is adorned with floral wallpaper and beige curtains. Light brown teak chairs and a coffee table are placed in the living room, with a light green carpet. On the other side of the living room, there is a white long cabinet holding a television, VCR, hi-fi system, and other components. But the most beloved item by the hostess is undoubtedly the cream-colored chair in front of the television. It looks like a footless armchair. “If I don’t have any schedules, I love staying at home, so the design of my home must not be careless!” she said, handing me a glass of fruit juice.
A Pair of Dumbbells · Gift from Ah Tong
Next to the white long cabinet, there is a large floor-to-ceiling glass window, in front of which lies a pair of dumbbells.
“These dumbbells were given to me by Ah Tong (Kent Tong). He said I should exercise more often to avoid falling sick!” Whenever Ah Tong is mentioned, a smile always appears on her face.
At the entrance of the main door, there is also a bulletin board hanging on the wall, displaying bills she needs to pay. This helps her manage daily chores.
As for her bedroom, it is truly a paradise. Right by the bed, there is a large pile of stuffed animals.
“I love stuffed animals very much. Most of these were given by friends, and each has a very funny expression. I also love holding them — it helps me fall asleep quickly!” I believe her stuffed animal friends must love keeping this young hostess company!
A Round Bed · Pink Wallpaper
Her bed is quite interesting: a round wooden frame with a mattress placed on top, paired with blue bedding. At the head of the bed, there is a hand-drawn portrait of Barbara Yung. The pink wallpaper and curtains complement the room, and on the white cabinet in front of the curtains, there is a vase of white chrysanthemums that look real at first glance.
“I love flowers, but the ones at home are all fake. I’m afraid of the hassle of taking care of them, so this saves a lot of trouble!” She really is an adorable person!
In her bedroom, the most eye-catching item is the large red beanbag.
“This was brought by my mom from the UK. I love its colour, and since it was specially brought by my mom, even if it doesn’t match the room’s colour scheme, I’m happy to have it as an accent.”

翁美玲懂得享受生活
香闺舒适清雅
“叮咚！”门铃响起，开门的正是本次家访的主角——翁美玲。她身穿一套粉色运动装，“不愧是活力之星，即便卸任后也时常穿着运动装。”
米白椅子·最得宠爱
客厅满铺碎花墙纸，配以米黄色窗帘。浅棕色柚木椅与茶几摆放其间，地毯则是淡绿色。客厅另一侧立着白色长柜，上面陈列着电视机、录像机、高保真音响等设备。而最得女主人青睐的，要数电视机前那张米白色椅子——其外形犹如无脚的安乐椅。“若没有通告，我最喜欢宅在家，所以家居设计绝不能马虎！”她边说边递给我一杯果汁。
阿汤赠送·一对哑铃
白色长柜旁是巨大的落地玻璃窗，窗前搁着一对哑铃。
“这哑铃是阿汤（汤镇业）送的，他说平时要多运动才不容易生病！”提及阿汤，她脸上总是漾着笑容。
大门入口处还挂着一块软木板，上面钉着待缴的费用单据，这能帮她妥善处理日常杂务。
她的卧室堪称天堂，仅床头就堆满各式公仔玩偶。
“我超爱公仔！大多都是朋友送的，每个表情都很有趣。我喜欢抱着它们睡觉，特别助眠！”相信这些公仔朋友也一定很愿意陪伴这位小主人吧！
圆形大床·粉红墙纸
她的床颇具趣味：圆形木框上直接放置床垫，搭配蓝色床褥。床头悬挂着一幅翁美玲手绘肖像。粉红色墙纸与窗帘相映成趣，窗前的白色柜子上摆着一瓶白菊花，乍看竟似真花。
“虽爱花却怕打理，所以家里都摆假花，省事多了！”这姑娘当真可爱！
卧室内最吸睛的当属那个红色大懒人沙发。
“是妈妈特地从英国带来的。我既喜欢这抹亮色，又是妈咪的心意，即便与房间色调不搭，也乐意用作点缀。”
