"How is your relationship developing lately?"
"It's still the same. When he's not making me angry, it's okay," Yung responded coldly.
"Why? Hasn't Ah Tong always treated you well?"
"That was a year ago. I don't want to talk about it anymore," Yung said, hesitating to elaborate. It was clear that there were some issues between her and Ah Tong.
"Isn't Ah Tong known to be a considerate person?"
"Do you think so?" she retorted, turning the question back on the interviewer.
Sighing deeply, Yung Mei Ling continued,
"I am a very romantic person. I absolutely expect my boyfriend to treat me well and be considerate. I believe this is something every woman has the right to expect before marriage. If even this basic expectation can't be met before marriage, how can one hope for anything after?"
She sighed again, expressing her frustration.
