Over 35,000 enthusiastic individuals gathered at the Kwun Tong Playground to participate in the "Kowloon Region Community Chest Million Walk." TVB, Asia Television, and the Eight Harmony Association were not to be outdone, sending their artists to join the event yesterday. Commercial Radio and RTHK also sent their program hosts to add to the festivities.
TVB sent the male and female leads of "The Thirteen Sisters" to participate in the Million Walk, including Yeung Pan Pan, Simon Yam, Wong Man Yi, Ko Miu Si, Chan Kwok Kuen, and Lau Kwok Kui. Tommy Tong, who had been filming "The Son's Duty" overnight, only returned home to rest at 6 a.m. yesterday and thus could not join the walk. Barbara Yung also missed the event due to filming "The Legend of the Condor Heroes."
Lau Tin Chi served as the team leader, with Sin Sang by his side. When the TVB artists were about to start the walk, they found themselves unable to move forward due to the large crowd of fans. Meanwhile, Asia Television and the Eight Harmony Association had already walked several streets ahead. The TVB artists were still stuck until security personel managed to disperse the crowd, allowing them to proceed.

TVB producer Sang Siu revealed yesterday that "The Thirteen Sisters" has completed filming and is set to air on the 24th of this month, right after "The Falcon," taking advantage of the favorable momentum.
Sang Siu expressed that regardless of the role's appeal, it would not harm Barbara Yung's image. He was very satisfied with her performance in "The Thirteen Sisters," praising her as very intelligent.
When asked about Wong Tin Lam's concern that if Barbara Yung's role in "The Thirteen Sisters" was not well-received, it might affect her recognition in "The Legend of the Condor Heroes," Sang Siu had a different view.
Many artists received flowers from fans, and Simon Yam's fans asked for autographs.
Asia Television's artists, including Ma Man Yi, Wei Qiu Hua, and Wei Kiong, were at the front, followed by Eddie Ho. Additionally, the female lead of "The Romantic Tang Bohu," Li Bin, Lau Man, Lai Hon Chi, and Yuen Pui Chun, originally planned to wear ancient costumes for the walk. However, due to the chaos and inconvenience of moving in such attire, they opted for sportswear instead.
Eddie Ho, being the "Mr. Pig Year," received many souvenirs from children. The Eight Harmony Association representatives included Hung Fung, Lee Heung Kam, and Law Kar Ying. They rarely participate in such events, making yesterday's Community Chest Million Walk a significant occasion. It was reported that the event raised over HK$100,000. (Bing)
After another new drama, "The Legend of the Condor Heroes" will air, and it is believed there will be no issues.
When discussing the filming of "The Return of the Condor Heroes," Sang Siu mentioned that after research, it was decided that Barbara Yung could not play the older Huang Rong in "The Return of the Condor Heroes." Although makeup could help, finding a suitable actress to play her daughter would be even more challenging.
