Female Lead for Iron Bridge III: Yung Mei Ling Favored
(Hong Kong) TVB, in collaboration with Guangdong Television, is producing Iron Bridge III. TVB will send four male and two female actors to participate, including Bowie Wu Fung and Sean Lau Ching-wan. Among the actresses, Yung Mei-ling is currently the most popular candidate, though the final decision has yet to be made. The other two male and one female roles are still under consideration.
According to reports, Sean Lau will portray "Twin Finger Tim," the second apprentice of Iron Bridge III, while Bowie Wu is set to play the role of a boss. Yung Mei-ling is likely to play the role of a tragic singer. Originally, Yung Mei-ling was slated to appear in director Lee Wai-man’s upcoming drama as Felix Wong’s love interest. However, TVB unexpectedly reassigned her, replacing her with Kitty Lai Sin-ying, leading to speculation that this change was related to her potential role in Iron Bridge III.
Producer Siu Sang has already departed for mainland China to oversee preparations for the production of Iron Bridge III. The actors are scheduled to head there after the Lunar New Year. Initially, the production team hoped to cast all mainland actors for the show, but later determined that TVB artists could handle certain dramatic scenes, prompting adjustments to the casting plan.
On the mainland side, the role of Iron Bridge III will be played by a martial arts expert with the surname Yang, a master proficient in ten martial arts disciplines.

(香港讯)无线与 广东电视台合作拍摄的 《铁桥三》,无线将派 出四男两女艺员参加, 包括鲍方、廖启智等, 女角则以翁美玲的呼声 最高,却未作最后决定 。另外两男一女则还在 选择中。
消息透露:廖启智 将在剧中扮演铁桥三的 第二徒弟“孖指添”, 鲍方的角色是一位老板 ,翁美玲可能演出可怜 歌女一角。翁美玲原被 安排在李惠民即将开拍 新剧中演出黄日华的女 友,无线却突然将她抽
起,换上蓝洁瑛,因此 怀疑是与有意由她演出 《铁》剧有关。
监制萧笙已于启程 赴中国,再度为《铁桥 三》即将开拍部署工作 ,演出艺员则于农历年 过后前往。此剧原希望 全部由大陆方面提供演 员,其后发觉一些文戏 部份,无线艺员足以应 付,逐再作安排。
