1984 May: interview during the making of United we stand

In this video there is first a shooting scene in an outdoor cafe where Michael Miu is acting as Fei. Further on you see Michael and Barbara rehearsing a scene together. The reporter asked "why are you guys so intimate?". Michael then replies "Don't misunderstand. We are filming." After which he and Barbara go on explaining their characters in the series. They end by saying; "what we said now is real, before that is not real, only filming. We are going to continue filming now, don't disturb us."

Can you convert it to Quicktime so that I can view it? Can you have both versions - Silverlight and Quicktime? So convenient for us, lor. I cannot be able to view it on Mac platform.

Although I cannot view it, I know which video you are going to play for us. for I had already viewed it several times on the internet. for us real barbara fans,we have made full use of the internet to search for anything that is related to Barbara. So I believe there are very few videos that remained unseen.what we are really interested in is those things or pictures that have not been revealed.So,ROB,you still have to work hard! Upload many more pictures of you and barbara! Tell many more stories of you and Barbara! We would be very grateful for your kindness!but for those new Barbara fans,these videos are still of great meaning to them.

Hi lois li,

I agree with Rob's saying that more and more Barbara's video's are disappearing from the Internet. You may check the guestbook at www.barbarayung.net. Some of the fans put the hyperlinks to the videos of Barbara on the You Tube. However, TVB claims the copyright ownership of the videos and these videos got deleted by the You Tube. An example, is the video of a one-minute interiew of Barbara by Ye Teseng (葉特生).

Maybe HYH (the webmaster of www.barbarayung.net) gets busier in recent years and does not have time to download the videos. In the past, HYH used to upload the saved videos in the website for fans to view and download. However, in recent years, you can only find hyperlinks of the videos to the You Tube. I think Rob is wise and considerate in saving these valuable videos of our beloved Barbara for safety's sake and in the interest of all Barbara's fans.

I am from jinan city ,shandong province,mainland China! How i hope my English is good enough to express my feelings for Barbara! I was born in 1974,How I regret that I couldn't see Barbara in person! I was just a young girl then. Now I have my own daughter. I often show her Barbara's videos and TV dramas. She seems to like her a lot ,too.ROB,just a few days ago,I showed her your website. we both enjoyed Barbara's favorite song"I am a woman". now we've even begun to learn to sing this song! I got the lines on the internet.As we listened to the song,we watched your pictures,one by one! we feel so happy! all the old precious pictures go with the old wonderful music!I really love the way you presented your love story!priceless pictures and beautiful music!

I wonder how you did it.you understand Chinese? or you got someone to help you ? another question:you said some pictures will come all the way from Australia.How come?what do you exactly mean by this? Barbara and you had been to AUSTRALIA before she left for Hong Kong? or the films of those old pictures have been kept in Australia.

I remembered that she met Barbara when Barbara was in Holland. I also remembered that she always took a lot of pictures. I got in contact with her (after twenty years) and although she is 84 years old now, she remembered Barbara and she thought she had some pictures of her. She is going to send them to me.

The video files are wmv format, that means that you can only see them with Windows media player. I am converting them to mp4 (if I find the right freeware), then you will be able to watch them.

That is because you use an old version of Flash player in your explorer. Update this and it should be ok.
