Yung Mei Ling was one of the 15 contestants on the Miss Hong Kong pageant in 1982. She was granted an opportunity by TVB to act as presenter in “Woman’s Today”.
After a while, TVB planned to start filming “The Legend of the Condor Heroes” and publicized an unsolicited application for "Ideal Huang Rong". She, as a new joiner, had participated this audition. After few audition rounds, she was selected as the ideal Huang Rong from thousands of candidates. Since then, she her colourful artist life started.
Yung Mei Ling is short, has a sweet face and looks smart. Absolutely, she is the ideal Huang Rong. Her performance is improving so she is getting more and more popular. She has many fans not only in Hong Kong, but also in South East Asia. Apart from ancient TV series, she is also popular for her acting in modern tv series (“The Man in the Middle”).
